Official figures show that twice as many people as 20 years ago are affected by skin cancer. According to an article in the Daily Mail yesterday, skin cancer is on the increase, particularly malignant melanoma. The research puts the increase down to cheap foreign holidays, sunbeds and a reluctance to wear sunscreen. Deaths of skin cancer have almost doubled in the period 2004-2006!
